Science: NAFLD - TSH - PFAS

- PFAS increase TSH levels (Jain et al., 2013; Byrne et al., 2018).

- TSH has been identified as an independent risk factor for NAFLD (Tahara et al., 2019; Kim et al., 2020).

- PFAS exposure was associated with more severe disease in children with NAFLD (Jin et al., 2020).
