本文用轻度缺碘与不缺碘大鼠摄入氟化钠以观察氟对甲状腺功能的影响。结果表明氟使甲状腺 T_3减少、DIT 增加及 MIT+DIT/T_3+T_4比值增高,且不受摄碘量的影响,说明氟作用于甲状腺素合成的偶联过程,很可能氟是通过抑制腺体内过氧化物酶的活性而起作用。

This paper used mildly iodine-deficient and iodine-sufficient rats given sodium fluoride to observe the effect of fluoride on thyroid function. The results showed that fluoride decreased thyroid T₃, increased DIT, and increased the MIT+DIT/T₃+T₄ ratio, and that these effects were not influenced by iodine intake. This indicates that fluoride acts on the coupling process in thyroxine synthesis, most likely by inhibiting peroxidase activity within the gland.
