Raje to inaugurate Bisalpur-Dudu drinking water project

Jaipur, May 21: Inorder to overcome the shortage of water in 1488 villages of Rajasthan, a Rs 300 crore project to supply water from the Bisalpur dam will soon be launched in the state, Water Resources Minister Sanwar Lal Jat said today.

This will also help mitigate the problem of fluoride and salinity in water, an official release quoted the minister as saying.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will inaugurate the Bisalpur-Dudu drinking water project today, he said adding that the project would be completed in two stages. In the first stage 694 villages would be benefitted while 794 and seven towns would be benefited in the second stage
