To investigate the influence of fluorine on the thyroid iodine metabolism in chicken, choice of 250 day-old laying hens were randomly divided into five groups, each 50, were fed the same complete diet. Group Ⅰ: normal control group, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ group added to the diet of different levels of sodium fluoride, the content of dietary fluoride were 500,1000,1500 and 2000mg / kg, the test period 150d, blood samples were collected every 30d, the fluorine content in serum thyroid iodine content, clinical trials show chickens. Successfully copied varying degrees of chickens with chronic fluorosis model, test the iodine content of normal chicken diets. The results showed that each poisoned group thyroid iodine content throughout the test period are different degrees lower than the control group, showed significant dose - effect and time - effect relationship. Fluoride content between serum thyroid iodine content and the corresponding period of the change was a significant negative correlation (r = -0.814). Description fluorine can significantly inhibit the ability of thyroid iodine uptake and accumulation, and interfere with the normal metabolism of iodine, which in turn affect the structure and function of the entire thyroid.
